Our Video Interpreting service offers real-time, visual communication with qualified interpreters via Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, and all major secure platforms. Lingua’s Document Translation service provides precise, high-quality written translations delivered by experienced linguists and native speakers. Whether you need medical, legal, educational or community documentation translated, our team ensures clarity, accuracy and full compliance every time.
Lingua’s BSL and European Sign Language services provide professional, accredited interpreters and translators to ensure Deaf and hard of hearing individuals can fully access healthcare, legal, educational and community services. We specialise in delivering clear, culturally competent communication—whether in person, via video, or through translated content.

About Lingua?

Lingua Translation is part of Lingua GM, a non-profit organisation that delivers a wide range of language, mental health, and employability services for diverse and bilingual communities.

Alongside professional translation and interpreting, Lingua GM is a trusted partner to the UK Public Sector, providing bilingual talking therapies, wellbeing workshops (including nutrition and mindfulness), and tailored support designed to empower ethno-cultural residents with the skills and confidence to thrive.

Our team brings over 20 years of experience across NHS IAPT services, voluntary-sector mental health work, community interpreting, translation, and private-sector provision. We offer qualified bilingual practitioners who can support clinical work and community engagement.

Our wellbeing and employability programmes follow a blended community model, designed to meet the needs of Greater Manchester’s bilingual and ethnically diverse residents across a wide range of languages.
